Grace Bible Church Maui was founded by Pastor Eddie & Susan Asato. Pastor Eddie grew up on Oahu, graduated from Iolani High, attended the University of Hawaii, and received his Bachelors of Biblical Studies from Christian International College and his Masters of Divinity from King’s Seminary. He pioneered Grace Bible Honolulu’s college campus ministry, planted Kauai Bible Church and began Grace Bible Church, Maui, in 1974.
GBC Maui belongs to a family of churches, which began with one mother church, GBC, Honolulu. Today, we have churches located on each of the Hawaiian islands, Guam, Saipan, Japan and Thailand. Our family of churches is associated with nearly 500 “Every Nation” churches whose presence is found in 32 nations of the world.
God has blessed us with two church locations, a great staff, 8.5 acres of land, a pre-school, youth service, college ministry, leadership institute and a strong presence in our community.
