This Christmas, during our “Acts of Kindness” event, the entire Sunday School donated toys to Toys for Tots, partnering with the Kaunoa Senior Center. The event was even mentioned in the Kaunoa Senior Center’s newsletter, “The Best Years”. Below is a picture of the Sunday school children with the toys they donated as well as the article from the newsletter.
Our Sunday School girls, ages 9 and above, partnered with Sew Special at the Queen Ka’ahumanu Shopping Center sewed pillow cases for abused children on Maui. We volunteered through the State Department of Human Services – Foster Care. We will update with pictures as soon as possible.
